Milana, a unique collaboration that unites North Indian Classical dance and music, South Indian Carnatic and Jazz percussion, and American Jazz piano, is set to redefine the boundaries of performance art, premiering on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 5:30pm at Jackson Theater, Ohlone College in Fremont, California. Featuring an all-star cast of renowned artists Labonee Mohanta (Kathak), Rohan Krishnamurthy (Carnatic + Jazz Drum Kit), Colin Hogan (Jazz Piano), and guest artist from India, Abhisek Mallick (Sitar), Milana dissolves the walls between musical genres and reimagines the relationship between dancer and musician.
